Sunday Kids
We love children and young people at St Michaels, and you will always receive a friendly welcome at any of our services or events.
Our 10.30am service on Sundays is especially geared towards those with children and young people. We start the morning together in church with cake and drinks before singing a couple of songs together to begin our worship. After that the children then leave for their own groups and activities.
For children under school age (0-4s) we have a Creche that meets in the back room at church where they enjoy a Bible story, songs, craft, snack and the chance to play together. Parents are welcome to stay in with their child if they wish in order to settle them in.
For children who are school age we head over to the village centre where the children then split into two age specific groups (4-9’s & 10-13’s) and have some great fun together, looking at stories from the bible and exploring faith through games, prayer, and activities. Parents then collect children from the Village Centre once the service has finished (usually around 12 noon).
For more information on our Sunday setup for children please contact our Children and Families Minister, Andy or our Youth Minister Grace who would love to tell you more.
For those who are free on Thursday’s we also have Connect our After-School Church which meets at St Michael’s Primary School from 3.30pm. Click here for more info
